What is eBox?
eBox Škoda Auto a.s. is a web application for exchanging large files between Škoda Auto and partner companies.
What is it used for?
The eBox application is used for sending or receiving one or more files in a package, the size and expiration of which is limited due to maximum data protection. Files can only be sent from Škoda Auto a.s. to an external company or vice versa; file exchange between two external companies is not possible.
Who can use the eBox?
The application can be used for sending or receiving files by any employee of Škoda Auto a.s. or of a partner company. The eBox supports all major web browsers and Microsoft SilverLight or an alternative module needs to be installed in order to take full advantage of the application.
How to use the application?
The file transfer must always be initiated by a user from Škoda Auto a.s. Therefore, in case you request a file transfer from Škoda Auto a.s. or you would like to send files to an employee of Škoda Auto a.s., ask your partner at the Škoda Auto a.s. company to create a file transfer package and provide him/her with your e-mail address. You will receive further instructions by electronic mail.
